Terms and Conditions
Preparing your home for service
- Clients are responsible for ensuring the home is picked up and ready to be cleaned at the scheduled service time. Additional hourly charges may apply if technicians require extra time due to excessive clutter, preparation issues, or conditions that differ from what was originally described.
- Please notify all guests of our scheduled arrival and ensure access to all areas to be cleaned. Notify the office in advance if guests or unknown individuals will be present so our team is not surprised during service.
Access to your home
- Clients must provide a working door code or lockbox code. A lockout fee will be charged if our team is unable to access the home.
- Alarm systems must be turned off prior to service. If left armed, we will follow provided instructions; however, Relax Cleaning Services is not responsible for false alarms, misuse, or any related fines, fees, or charges from alarm companies or local authorities. No exceptions. Clients agree to hold harmless and release Relax Cleaning Services from all liability related to alarm system failures or improper arming or disarming.
- Technicians clean homes in a specific order to ensure efficiency and thoroughness. Requests to clean areas out of order or to prioritize certain rooms must be arranged in advance and may require additional scheduled time. Additional time will cost extra.
One-time, Initial, and Move In/Out Cleaning
- A minimum of (7)days notice is required for the scheduling of One-Time, Initial, and Move-In/Move-Out cleanings.
- A walkthrough will need to be scheduled at least 48 hours’ before time of service.
Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service
- We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time due to unsafe working conditions, aggressive behavior by occupants or pets, repeated non-payment, excessive cancellations, or violations of company policies.
Children and Pets
- For safety reasons, children must be supervised at all times while cleaning services are being performed.
- We love animals; however, if a pet displays aggressive behavior, it must be kenneled, placed in a room not being cleaned, or kept outside during service. Relax Cleaning Services reserves the right to leave the premises if a pet exhibits aggressive behavior. In such cases, the full service fee will be charged. We are not responsible for the behavior of any pets during service.
Skipping, Cancellation, or modifying service
- For recurring services, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to skip or cancel a cleaning. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged 1/4 of the anticipated service cost, with some exception.
- Clients may reschedule within the same week without additional fees when proper notice is given. Emergency exceptions may be considered; however, frequent cancellations — including those due to illness or emergencies — may still result in cancellation charges at the company’s discretion.
- Reducing service frequency or temporarily or permanently canceling service also requires 24 hours’ notice. Less notice will be charged at 1/4 the service rate.
- If more than three weeks elapse between cleanings due to cancellation or rescheduling, a catch-up cleaning will be required and charged at the current hourly rate
Events Beyond Reasonable Control
- Relax Cleaning Service shall not be held liable for delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including extreme weather, natural disasters, power outages, government orders, or acts of God. Services will be rescheduled as soon as reasonably possible.
Limitation of Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Relax Cleaning Services total liability for any claim, damage, or loss arising out of or related to services provided shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the most recent cleaning service.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of use or loss of value, unless caused by gross negligence.
Privacy Policy
- We are committed to keeping your information confidential. We do not sell, rent, or lease our customer lists to third parties, and we will not provide your personal information to any third-party individual, government agency, or company at any time unless compelled to do so by law. We will use your personal and billing information solely to provide the service you hire us for.
Estimates and Quotes
- Estimates are based on information provided by the client. If the home is significantly dirtier, more cluttered, or different than described, completion within the quoted time is not guaranteed. Clients will be given the option to approve additional time or have the team leave the job.
- Changes requested after an estimate is provided may result in additional charges or a revised estimate.
- If our team arrives and determines the job requires a level of cleaning beyond our scope, we reserve the right to decline service. In such cases, there will be no charge
Damage Reporting and Satisfaction Guarantee
- Any concerns, damages, or quality issues must be reported to the office within 24 hours of service completion. We reserve the right to inspect and remedy any issue before repairs or third-party services are initiated.
- Failure to report concerns within this timeframe constitutes acceptance of service.
Products
- Our products are plant based and biodegradable for the safety of the homeowner, the cleaning technicians, and if you have pets.
Late Payment and Collection
- Payment is due when the incidental is sent. Outstanding balances not resolved within seven (7) days may be subject to late fees and/or collection efforts. Clients agree to be responsible for reasonable collection costs incurred.
Trash Removal
- We require that we leave any collected trash in the garbage bin at the homeowner’s location. We cannot take trash with us.
